Micro-credentials : Recognition of Prior Learning

It is currently possible to apply for a RPL for the following program or training:

• Foundations in Dialogue Interpreting

• be over 18 years old;
• be a Canadian citizen, have permanent residency in Canada or have refugee/protected person status in Canada;
• have relevant experience related to the course you are seeking to have recognized;
• meet the specific admission requirements of the program for which you wish to apply for RPL.
  • Foundations in Dialogue Interpreting : ILSAT or CILISAT test results (minimum score of 75% in English and French)

Your request must include:

• Completed and signed recognition of prior learning and competencies form;
• A résumé
  The résumé is the essential tool we need to get to know your professional profile. Please give details of your training, work experience, interests and activities (awards, volunteer work, etc.) and any additional experience relevant to your application. Please send a specific résumé for each course you want to be recognized for.
• A letter of introduction
  In this letter, you must demonstrate the correspondence between your learning experience and the course you wish to have recognized. Please send a specific cover letter for each course you are applying for.

The cost of each RPL application is $173.37, non-refundable.

Once your application has been accepted, you will receive an invoice and a link to make your payment online.

If you do not validate your RPL and decide to take the course for which you have applied, the RPL cost will be deducted from your course registration.
