Université Sainte-Anne's Marine Research Centre, founded in 2010, is dedicated to the development and sustainability of marine industries in rural communities through research initiatives, innovation, and training.
The LISI is a non-profit laboratory dedicated to research, development, and innovation (RD&I). We are equipped with research facilities in biology as well as a greenhouse complex. LISI is the only RD&I laboratory of its kind in Southwest Nova Scotia.
The mission of the Observatoire Nord/Sud is to promote the study and understanding of Acadie in its international dimension, by focusing on issues related to both the historical and contemporary Acadian diaspora, and, more broadly, on issues of diversity in French-speaking North America.
The Entrepreneurship Centre offers consulting services, training, and advice to businesses, social enterprises, and non-profit organizations operating in Acadian and Francophone regions and surrounding areas.

Established in Nova Scotia’s Acadian community, the university focuses on the development and mobilization of new knowledge in a variety of leading fields particularly relevant in today’s times.
