The Congrès mondial acadien 2024 Economic Forum is the result of a collaboration between CMA 2024, Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) and Université Sainte-Anne. The theme is “Leveraging Sustainable Development for Economic Prosperity in Acadie: Local, National and International Viewpoints”. From August 13 to 15, 2024, the event will be held in Southwestern Nova Scotia, in the regions of Digby and Clare. Local, national and international economic VIPs will discuss sustainable economic development issues and present innovative, growth-promoting practices implemented in Acadian regions.

This forum is sponsored by Acadian Seaplants, an exemplary Acadian company and a world leader in sustainable development. This is a bilingual event, with simultaneous interpretation provided by WordBridge Language Services.

The Economic Forum’s Main Objectives:
  • To explore the synergies between sustainable development and economic growth in Acadie, Canada and around the world
  • To identify and promote innovative actions towards a sustainable economy
  • To provide new opportunities for exchange and dialogue between entrepreneurs, researchers and politicians
